Conservation,
playfully illustrated
A vibrant flyer design promoting wildlife education.
Empowering young conservationists.
Created for a Murray State University project in 2018, this children's flyer for the Houston Zoo's Lion Fish Conservation Program was designed to inspire and excite children ages 9–12. The program introduces kids to real-life environmental issues, encouraging action, learning, and fun through community engagement.
Colorful storytelling through vector art.
Using an energetic palette of blues and oranges, I created a detailed vector illustration of a lionfish complemented by dynamic patterns. The goal was to visually captivate young audiences, encouraging curiosity and excitement about wildlife and conservation.

Illustration as a tool for education.
This project taught me the power of thoughtful illustration in communicating important topics in a fun, approachable way. It highlighted how design can spark interest and action among young learners, setting a foundation for my approach to educational visuals.
