Student Work

That Built the Foundation

Before the client projects and campaign results, there was this—the work that shaped my eye, challenged my thinking, and sharpened my skills. This portfolio includes conceptual design, branding experiments, motion studies, and visual storytelling created during my time as a university student.

Each piece reflects not just what I was learning, but how I was learning to think like a designer. This is where I explored, failed forward, and developed the creative perspective that now informs every project I take on today.

Quiet Battles,
Loud Growth

“Thank You for Your Service” is a personal reflection on my time in the military—and the growth that followed. This project explores my evolution as a husband, father, and designer after returning home from war. Through thoughtful visuals, symbolism, and storytelling, it captures a journey of healing, identity, and becoming whole again.

Form Follows Flavor

Created as a university project, this restaurant brand draws inspiration from Donald Judd’s minimalist philosophy. Designed around a bold orange palette and stripped-back aesthetic, the system includes menus, apparel, business cards, and environmental branding. It marked my first full exploration of a unified brand experience—and the power of doing more with less.

Posters with Purpose

This collection explores composition, typography, and visual storytelling through a series of poster designs created during my university years. Each piece served as a space to experiment—with concept, layout, and voice—balancing structure with bold creative expression. These projects shaped how I think about message, medium, and impact.
