Pulled by Hand,
Pushed by Ideas
A collection of screenprinted posters designed and hand-pulled during my time at Murray State University. Each piece explores type, texture, and tone—where the ink hits paper just as hard as the concept. From bold experiments to refined compositions, this series reflects a love for the physical process and the quiet grind of getting it just right.

Typography
I chose some of my favorite, yet shorter, exerts from the Tao Te Ching to be represented in a modular typography style. The way the blocks interact with each other creates a strong sense of balance in life.

Lessons learned in poster making
Designing posters has sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, quickly, and visually. Every element—typography, composition, color, and scale—has to serve a clear purpose. These projects taught me how to create immediate impact while maintaining conceptual depth, and how to balance aesthetic clarity with thoughtful messaging. Poster design continues to shape how I approach hierarchy, rhythm, and visual storytelling across all forms of design.
